Purcell tripping into Jumbo Wild

We like being outdoors together and
yep, we kinda like each other...
Larch trees were just spectacular.
Peaking out as usual
Just like the old days
We called it Shangri la

This is where a huge ski resort is being planned by the BC Government in conjunction with a land developer.  The area does have roads going up to it and clear cuts from logging almost up to the glacier alpine, but it's an incredibly small area and an important corridor for wildlife, particularly Grizzly Bear.  It also needs to stay undeveloped if there is any chance that the mountain caribou could be brought back with conservation biology recovery approaches.  Check out HERE the film that was released last month to help keep JUMBO WILD!  The West Kootenay Eco-Society is also working super hard to stop this resort project.
