Seven Summits Fun

We were lucky to get the opportunity to make a ride of the seven summits trail which is a world-regarded trail near Rossland, BC. for mtn bike riding.  Although we only saw a handful of people on it.  There was a guy riding the trail that day that was trying for some world record, riding it back and forth for 3 times in a day, but we were happy just to ride it once!

So lucky to not have a full sunny day nor thunderstorms
Mark was always ahead as usual
Petra was the local who got us on the trail
Red Mountain Ski Hill in the background
Fun snags.  The ride was about 5 km too long in my book.
It was really exhausting.  I got home and took a three hour nap!  Much more than an intermediate ride in my mind.  I would forget the last part of the trail when we do it next, stopping at cascade pass..  When I grow up, I want to be a woman who can ride a bike like this guy....

and ride downhill without using my brakes.  That is, if I can't be a hummingbird.
