We were lucky to get the opportunity to make a ride of the seven summits trail which is a world-regarded trail near Rossland, BC. for mtn bike riding. Although we only saw a handful of people on it. There was a guy riding the trail that day that was trying for some world record, riding it back and forth for 3 times in a day, but we were happy just to ride it once!
So lucky to not have a full sunny day nor thunderstorms |
Mark was always ahead as usual |
Petra was the local who got us on the trail |
Red Mountain Ski Hill in the background |
Fun snags. The ride was about 5 km too long in my book. |
It was really exhausting. I got home and took a three hour nap! Much more than an intermediate ride in my mind. I would forget the last part of the trail when we do it next, stopping at cascade pass.. When I grow up, I want to be a woman who can ride a bike like this guy....
and ride downhill without using my brakes. That is, if I can't be a hummingbird.
